Kind of funny.

But just kind of.

Mai talked me into letting her take a porcelain tea set to school today (I know I'm one of those parents but it got us out the door). It was all boxed up and she just had to take it to show her friends because "they would just LOVE it". I told her the only way she could take it was if she promised to leave it in the box. Deal.

Or so I thought...

As we were getting out of the car at school I reminded her of our deal. The tea set has to stay in the box. She quickly replied. "Okay Mommy, but don't tell Ms. Dawn that - because when you leave I'm going to take it out of the box." And out of the car she jumped...

Really Mai? I guess I have some more work to do...

Easter Part 1

Grandma Mailand and Herman were in town so we celebrated Easter with the Mailand crew on Saturday. We had to skip our annual trip to the Trietsch Easter Egg hunt but we had a great time celebrating with family.

Right Ava? (She thinks we're crazy)

It was a great day for playing outside and bike riding.
Ava had to eat standing up she is not a dog lover and they know right where to stand when it's time to eat.

I still seem to be last minute on err uhh everything so I took the easy route with our egg coloring but we got it done and they had fun! Next year we'll probably have to do it the real way.

The Windiest Easter Egg Hunt Ever.

And I'm not kidding. It was more "chasing" eggs then hunting them. The eggs were blowing across the yard and don't you dare drop your baskets or you had some serious work to do. All in all it probably made it more fun. Or at least it made the fun last longer. It definitely made it more fun to watch.

Here are the wind blown egg hunters.
